The Inuit people traditionally lived in the Arctic regions of Canada, building igloos in the winter and tents in the summer. They hunted caribou and seals for food and clothing, crafting parkas, pants, mittens, and boots called kamiks from caribou hides. Tools like harpoons, goggles, sleds pulled by dogs, and kayaks were used for hunting, fishing, and transportation.

• The Inuit lived in igloos. Igloos are made
out of blocks of ice. They are stacked In a
circle. It is formed like a dome. Igloos have
to be belt in the winter.

• The Inuit made parkas out of caribou hides. the
woman's parka had a special pouch to hold their
babies
• The Inuit's pants are made out of caribou hides it
protect the Inuit from wind, ice, snow
• Mittens are made of sealskin because seal skin
is waterproof
• Boots are called kamiks. Some kamiks people
wore kamiks on land. Some boots were worn in
the water they are waterproof

• Caribou was the Inuit’s main food. Inuit
like to eat the fat, bones, and blood as well
as the meat.
• Inuit fished for Arctic char. The Inuit liked
to eat it raw, frozen or cooked
• Vegetables didn't grow there instead they
ate nuts and berries
• The Inuit ate bannock
