La presentazione è costituita di 3 parti:
1)Questionario sull’immigrazione nel nostro territorio, negli ultimi 10 anni. Analisi e sintesi comparata dei dati raccolti.I risultati sono stati inseriti nel sito web : www.immigrants-past-and-present.eu
2) Emigrazione di ieri. Testimonianze e foto inedite di emigrati dal nostro territorio verso Paesi dell’Europa negli anni ’50.
3)Immigrazione di oggi. Presentazione di due studenti immigrati, frequentanti il nostro istituto.

20. The men left Italy to work in the sugar beets’ grounds in France. Curiosity: Today a man who worked like immigrant in this plantation still receve a little pension.
21. A lot of italian people (before in particulary men, after catched up from their family) emigrated in marcinelle in ’60 of twenty century to work in coal mines. In marcinelle grew a big community of Italian after the phenomenon of emigration, but in 8 august 1956 an HORRIBLE tragedy happened: 260 people of different countries (a big majority was Italian) died after a terrible explosion in the mine where they remaned trapped.

31. Romania Italia I'm Iulian Mihaila and I am the modern immigrant. I come from Roumania. My parents are in Italy over six years and I come here only two years ago.

33. Here I doesn't found racism against me, but in the first month at the school my school friends does to me jokes because at the time I doesn't spoke well. But after they helped me to spoke very well, and they tried to make me fell like a Italian boy. Racism? I doesn't feel it!! My school friends helped me a lot!!!
34. In Italy I thing that are three kinds of people. The bad people that appeal the maxim rigor against infusion of the immigrants, the good people that want that all the new people are welcomed with the open arms and in the least are the middle citizen that thing that the honest immigrants shall be welcomed, but the dishonest immigrants shall be sent in the jail or haunted like the Italian people. Now I'm integrate here I'm feel very good here
