Fridays<br />Check-out:Books with Student ID.<br />2 books at one time for 2 weeks.<br />Renew books every 2 weeks if not finished.<br />Students will be fined 5 cents per day per overdue book.<br />Students will be charged for lost/damaged books and for books that are NOT returned.<br />Magazines on top of Circulation Desk are for home use: TAKE THEM!<br />Computers:<br />First come, first serve basis: classes in LMC so not many are available.<br />We follow the Miami-Dade County Public Schools Acceptable Use Policy of Internet Usage.<br />Programs:<br />Internet Explorer (browser), Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, <br />Microsoft Excel and Adobe CS4 Creative Suite<br />Printing: 10 cents per page in black & white; 50 cents per page in color – changes up to a dollar. <br />Use Student ID & password from Portal to print.<br />Xerox machine: 15 cents per page black & white only. Changes up to a dollar bill.<br />Do:Browse the shelves and check-out books and take magazines on top of desk.<br />Use computers for school work and save to flash drive or print.<br />Use computers for email through your Student Portal’s Inbox: ID#@live.dadeschools.net<br />READ, READ, READ!<br />Don’t:NO FOOD, DRINKS OR GUM IN THE MEDIA CENTER!<br />DO NOT THROW TRASH ON THE FLOOR OF THE MEDIA CENTER!<br />DO NOT KEEP OR LOSE LIBRARY BOOKS!<br />
