Opening the App
On your iOS device you can swipe
down from the middle of the
screen to open the search bar and
type in ProductNinja. Then tap
on the icon.
Or you can search your home
screen for the ProductNinja icon.

It’s best to have all other apps closed before you
begin so that there is no excessive battery usage.
You do that by double clicking home screen and
swiping the other apps up!.

THE items are physically lotted, numbered
and MEASURED and you have reviewed all

Starting A Catalog Select “Start New Catalog”
Enter Streetcitystate (or province) initials date (this is
our standard naming format) Streetcitystateinitialsdate
(again, letters and numbers only)

(if there are multiple catalogers
doing the catalog in multiple
parts, each one will have
different initials - and if it is done
over several days enter part X of
Y to tell the editors that it is
several parts - plus the notes
you send in at the end will also
alert the editors as well)

Please note that when cataloging in the app, DO NOT USE SPECIAL CHARACTERS IF YOU USE ANY
CHARACTERS OTHER THAN letters, numbers, spaces, periods, and commas YOUR CATALOG WILL
MALFUNCTION and all your work may be LOST… gasp!

Search Screen...
To enter a lot there are two ways of doing it. One way is to use
the Search Bar. For example enter “Book Collection” for in the
search bar… notice as you “Boo”, all the items associated to
keyword come up.

You can select the corresponding item that comes up for
fast entry.

You can also manually enter a lot by
entering your on title. For example enter
“Business Book Collection” in the search
bar.

Then touch the “Enter New” to submit your
title to the catalog.

Cataloging Screen
You can edit the Title field if you wish.

Make sure to verify the lot number is indicates “1”
(it’s best to verify lot number corresponds to physical
lot number for every lot). You can use the “+” or “-”
icon to increase or decrease the lot number.

Enter the “Category”

Swipe up or down until you see a Category
that suits your need and touch “Enter
Category”

Cataloging Screen
Notice that there are tips displayed in the
description field (which disappears when you touch
to type in the description; and don’t worry… if you
don’t enter a description, the tips aren’t saved in
your catalog)

Enter in the Description field “Art books and books
about collecting” Enter an approx number, what
kind of books are they? Anticipate and address
buyer questions before asked!

Hit A B or C for the category pickup time (how to
determine the pickup time is covered in separate
instructions - only choose one per lot)

Use the tape measure to enter the measurements
following our standard of WxDxH (“What Da’ Heck”
is how we remember it)

Notice that you can choose keywords from the
“Keyword” finder for fast entry.

Taking Pictures.
Now let’s take a photo of this by selecting the camera icon; you
can take multiple photos (note: the camera icon orientation is
how the camera is going to be rotated) Start with a photo of the
ENTIRE LOT - then get some details of each item or part of the
item, take a photo of the measurements that you wrote down on
the blue tape, and last a photo of the lot sticker.

Note: If you find the camera button isn’t working, simply move
on to the next lot and then go back into the previous lot to take
the photo.

If that doesn’t work, save your work and re-boot the app.

If that still does not fix it than go into your Apple device
“Settings” find the “ProductNinja” app and make sure that the
app is allowed to access to the camera on the Apple device.

Entering Lot 2
To enter Lot 2, you can touch “Add Next” this will take
you back to the Search bar to enter a new lot.

Or you can use the “Duplicate” button if there is another
lot that is the same. Note: it will save you a lot of time.
However, you have to change the Lot number… touch
the “+”.

Reviewing Your Lots
To review all Lots touching the “View Lots” or by
touching “Back to Search”, then “Back to Lots”.

To delete a lot by swiping left and hit delete.

was removed by owner.
