2. BROOKLYN FREE COLLLEGE
In the Brooklyn Free College, students do what they want. There are no classes, no
assignments, no evaluations. The students decide what to do . The teachers do not
teach lessons .. Every week, students and teachers make a mandatory meeting where
they democratically decide the rules and decisions that the institution has to make.
The school is based on a philosophy that children learn best when they are not forced
into anything. "We want to help the children to continue being themselves.

3. Solar floating schools, the school goes where the
children are
If the students don’t go to school, the school goes to the students. This could be the slogan of solar floating schools,
which exist in countries such as Bangladesh and Argentina. The fundamental objective of these aquatic facilities is to
ensure that no one is left without receiving the bread of knowledge.
Floating schools in Argentina had an important impact on education in poor communities. The solar powered floating
schools of Shidhulai won prestigious international prizes. For example, in 2007 was awarded with the Ashden Prize.
