2. NANDA DEVI
Nanda Devi is in Chamoli, India. Is the second highest mountain in India, and the
highest that is completely within that country , in addition to being the twenty-third
highest elevation on the planet. It is located in the Nanda Devi National Park,
which was declared a World Heritage Site, by UNESCO in 1988, for its
"outstanding cultural and natural importance to the common heritage of humanity"
4. TAG MAHAL
The Tag Mahal is a funerary monument built between 1631 and 1654 in the city of Agra,
Uttar Pradesh state (India). The imposing set of buildings was erected in honor of his
favorite wife, Arjumand Banu Begum. The Taj Mahal is considered the most beautiful
example of a palace, a style that combines elements of Islamic, Persian, Indian and even
Turkish architectures. The monument is an important tourist destination of India. In 1983, it
was recognized by Unesco as a World Heritage Site for being "the jewel of Muslim art in
India and one of the universally admired world heritage masterpieces."
