Yugant Foundation is a non-profit organization established in 2009 that works to uplift and develop tribal communities in India. Bombay Public Trust (BPT) Act 1950 and The Societies Registration Act 1860 on March 5, 2012. It basically

FREE MEDICAL HEALTH CAMP FOR WOMEN, APRIL 7, 2012
On occasion of World Health Day, Yugant organised a
one day free medical health check-up camp for women
at Nashik. It included tests like blood pressure check,
Sugar check and Heamoglobin check.
The chief guest and speaker on this occasion was Dr.
Pravina Pawar (MD).

PARIVARTAN – THREE DAY WORKSHOP FOR JUVENILE DETAINEES, June 4-6, 2012
Parivartan was a three day workshop for the juvenile
detainees at Kishor Sudharalay. (Borstal School)
Workshop aimed at motivating and building the morale of
detainees using the technique of Yoga, greeting making
and audio-visual presentation.
Session were conducted by –

ZEP – SCHOOL KIT DISTRIBUTION, June 16, 2012
ZEP is a Marathi terminology for flight. Under ZEP
2012, Yugant Foundation donated 425 school kits to
students of 10 Zilla Parishad schools in Surgana
Taluka, of Nashik district.
Total numbers of students benefited from ZEP since
2009 are 1500+.

BASE LINE SURVEY FOR INDIAN OIL CORPORATION, January 28-31, 2013
This was a survey conducted for Indian Oil Corporation (IBP DIVISION), as a part of their CSR activity. This was conducted in
tribal areas of Nashik district (Peth, Trimbak, and Dindori Talukas)
18 schools were covered for evaluating need of infrastructure and other amenities.
After the project report was submitted, IOC approved distribution of 855 benches (worth 10.5 lakh) which will benefit 1810
students.

WOMEN’S DAY WORKSHOP, March 8, 2013
To create an awareness among college going female
students about their legal rights and various laws on
women protection, there was a workshop organised in
Kalwan, Nashik.
This will make them aware about various complaint
redressal forum, helpline numbers and offices to seek for
legal assistance.
The workshop will also strengthen their confidence by
guiding them on self defence, and self employment.
The speakers were:
