2. The Game
• Audience – Young Children (5- 10 mixed
gender)
• Genre – Role play children’s adventure
• Narrative – Progressive Farmyard Activities to
Achieve the Goal of Being Farmyard Manager
3. Characters
• The current manager is called Farmer Harris, he is
the boss who you do all your work for. He does the
tutorial at the start and shows you the ropes.
• The player creates their own boy or girl farmer then
also creates the name and clothes them.
• There will be individual characters by each mini
game to help with what to do. E.g. Hiccup the Horse
4. About Hilltop Farm
• The whole aim of the game is to become Farm Manager, but to get
to this status you have to complete all the mini games these are;
• Don’t let them get hungry (Feeding Animals)
• Breakfast Time (Collect the eggs)
• Get the tractor out (Harvest Fields)
• Messy Pup (Cleaning the Yard)
• Ride Hiccup (Horse Riding)
• Send in the dogs (Sheep Rounding)
• Brum Brum (Quad Biking)
• Daisy the Cow (Milk the Cow)
• Get the Veg (Collecting all the vegetables out of the ground)
5. USP
• The way our would be unique from other games would be
that it is really interactive. We would aim our game at the Wii
so that most of the actions would be done in person.
• Also it would be educational as children would learn from a
working life and the healthy foods being produced .
• If your children are going to be inside playing videogames
anyway rather than playing outside. Through this game it will
be like being out in the open as the game is so active children
wont ever stop moving.
6. Advertisements
• Comic books so as it’s something most children have
so they will able to see the game while reading.
• Television Commercial- on children's T.V channels
only such as Disney and Nickelodeon. Mainly
between 4 and 6 ‘clock as this is when children first
get back from school.
• Posters around major schools to catch the eyes of
parents and children.
