FOR MORE INFO.
First off, cloud is continuing to grow globally. In the last three years alone, worldwide hosted cloud users grew by nearly double.
According to a study by MZA, small businesses prefer multi-tenant with 99% of installations in businesses 1-30 seats being multi-tenant hosted cloud installations. <Read through the rest of the stats>
Half of all installations for MM businesses are On-Prem.
One quarter of all installations for MM businesses are Multi-Tenant
The highest growth areas are North America, Western Europe and APAC

That solution--is MiCloud Office.
- First and foremost, the greatest positive aspect of a cloud communications solution is the OPEX pricing model.
- Compared to a large out of pocket CAPEX expense for premises based phone systems, a Cloud model is a fixed operational expense that allows for a predictable monthly expense.
Business owners are able to have a better sense of their cash on hand and better allocate additional investment back into the business.
No longer do businesses have to hold on to 7-9 year PBX investments, pouring additional money into the depreciated asset or paying for somebody to service it.
By moving to the cloud, they have all the same features and functionality (if not more) and new features / functionality are added automatically when the service provider updates the system.
Cloud-based unified communications is especially cost-effective for small businesses because it eliminates the need to pay for the installation and maintenance of a traditional phone system. By hosting a phone system over the Internet, businesses are charged on a “need now” basis, paying only for what they require. The cloud also offers small businesses access to high-end features and upgrades at a fraction of the cost.
The flexibility and elasticity of a cloud communications model is the second benefit.
The cloud’s Pay-as-you-grow model, allows you to only pay for the services your business needs today. If your company’s resources grow or you decide to add another office location, the cloud model allows you to seamlessly expand as new licenses are added. Much like the OPEX model benefit, this enables business owners to better manage their cash flow and make strategic investments back into the business, not into hardware that will depreciate over time.
Flexibility also comes into play for disaster recovery. Your phone system needs to be up and running 24/7 to stay connected to customers. The cloud protects your business’ voice during disasters, giving you the reliability, resiliency and redundancy you need. Examples of available disaster recovery protections include the ability to remotely access voicemail from email, automatic call routing to remote locations and cell phones, and Cloud-based auto attendants that continue to take calls and provide information.
A 3rd benefit of this model is the ability to centralize the solution. Centralize the administration as well as the user experience.
Administration, including daily tasks as well as necessary updates can be accomplished anytime from anywhere with Internet access. No longer are you waiting for a service truck role to make minor moves, adds, or changes. Adding new users or even an entire office to a cloud based communication solution takes a matter of minutes or hours.
With a Cloud-based unified communications system, companies with multiple locations can deploy a more unified phone system, where users experience the same call quality and features.
Users are able to seamlessly transfer calls to other locations, helping to improve overall efficiency. Even better, instead of paying numerous local providers, multi-location companies can pay a single bill to a single nationwide provider for all of their lines.
- The IT department has enough on its plate without adding phone system maintenance to the list. With the cloud, we (Mitel) expertly manage your system off-site, and your IT department is freed to focus on other high-priority issues.
With any Software as a Service model, upgrades to the latest release are provided free of charge and are minimally invasive to the day to day use of the system.
Let the IT department focus on more strategic resources investments, while we (Mitel the service provider) take responsibility for the day today operations of the system.
As mobility continues to be deeply rooted into our daily work lives, a cloud communication solution can help increase employee productivity while on the go.
This solution provides mobile and home-based workers with the same features and functionality of those who are physically sitting in an office. We believe that work is an activity, not a location, and with a cloud based business communications solution, employees are able to have seamless communication tools they need to stay connected and active.
That solution--is MiCloud Office.
*MiCloud Office is targeted at small business 1-100 users, but the solution can scale well into large enterprise sizes of tens of thousands of users.
Business Owner Pain Point Solutions
Expense Management - Minimize large capital equipment expenses by reducing costs to predictable monthly payments that give you more money to dedicate to projects that matter.
Reliability- They want to know that they can always be available to their customers, whenever their needed. With MiCloud Office, they gain the ability to rely on the availability of a phone system built on geo-redundant top tier data centers.
Feature Gaps- With MiCloud Office, SMBs are going to be getting the communications features used by fortune 500 companies but designed to scale to the needs of a growing business.
Productivity- Seamlessly connect mobile and remote users with full featured mobile applications embedded with team collaboration.
Customer Engagement- Deliver an exceptional customer experience with a call center that is part of your phone system and not a separate 3rd party application.
IT Director Pain Point Solutions
Resource- Add cost predictability by moving to an OpEx model, while reducing the amount of staff required to keep the solution up and running.
Scalability- Scale communications to the size of the business at the speed of growth. As the number of employees change, sunk hardware costs are no longer a consideration. Since licenses can be mixed and matched, optimize costs so the system meets your specific needs of employees, and they can change as their needs change.
Change Management- Gain the ability to reduce the complexity that comes from system upgrades and hardware maintenance with a system that ensures their organization is always on the latest version and they can enjoy and benefit from the most recent features as they are released
Remote Administration- Lastly, MiCloud Office gives the IT team the ability to access and manage the system from wherever IT needs to be- moving, adding, changing and deleting users whenever from wherever.
