Texas Star Chart Star Chart is designed to help teachers, campuses, and districts determine if they are meeting the goals set for their district as well as the goals for the Texas Long-Range Plan for Technology. Star Chart is developed around four key areas of the Texas Long-Range Plan for Technology.

7. What is the purpose for the Texas star chart? Identify needs for on-going professional development. Provides data for NCLB, Title I, Part D. Provide Information for funding. Determines if campus and district goals are being met.
8. Star Chart ratings Each key area is assessed and given a rating Early Tech 6-8 Developing Tech 9-14 Advanced Tech 15-20 Target Tech 21-24
