3rd Year Primary Students want to know
How tall their teachers are and…
who is the tallest and who is the shortest?
 So, first of all, Children count the teachers they
have for each subject.
Spanish Language, Arts, Social Science and Maths: Héctor G
Natural Science: Marta H
Religion: Pili P
Physical Education: Bea A
Music: Carmen J
Literacy: Laura G
 They realise they have 6 teachers so we split the
class into 6 groups to work using a Cooperative
learning structure (giving each of them a
different role)
Each group has to
complete the
information required
estimating and using
their hands. Finally
they will be able to
use a tape measure.
