Illinois Bureau of Tourism- great for showcasing your town. Allowing members to join and post their own photos ups the public interest.
Trust is the main topic to address (I think). Social media has helped people regain some trust in government (at least those that are open and participating, i.e. Obama)
Story from earlier this week. Point here is that even little bits of transparency can add up in the publicās mind. Simple steps like this can really pave the way to getting the public believing in your government.
