Paleontologists use many tools for their
work . You would think that
paleontologists want to be delicate 5 Cool tools
with fossils but sometimes they use
dynamites to dig up fossils. Most of the Paleontologists
time they are very delicate so they use
brooms and brushes to dig up fossils.
                                           use
Some minerals cover the fossil so the
paleontologists use tweezers to take
the minerals out . They use many cool
tools.

Fossils are remains…
       Fossils are remains of
plants or animals that once
lived long ago.

Fossils can also show you what
the land was like, how the
animals moved and ate, and
what the climate was like.
You can find them in the
beaches,dryland,wetlands,under
             water.

Fossils are put in different places
                    because
They are put in different places because they die in
a place and then the land changes over too become
a different type of land
Fossil gets buried ,over millions of years the land
changes.

Fossils can be in different places
              like …
  • many places that are hot or cold like the
top of a mountain or a desert
Did you know that fossils are made
By the replacing the original organic
   minerals with other minerals.
1. What are fossils?
Fossils are the remains of plants and animals that lived
                         long ago.
Fossils can be found in a snowy mountain or a hot
desserd they can even be found in your own
backyard! You can use a dust tools to get them. You can
find all kinds of different fossils in all kinds of different
                          places!
Fossil are the remain or
impressions left by plants
 or animal was alive but
 now changed to stone.
WHAT ARE FOSSILS
First NEVER go fossil collecting alone , especially if you are a beginner!
Secondly , please DO NOT go near cliffs and big rocks, because you could
slip and fall off!!! Be careful!

Fossil can be Found…
Fossils can be found high on
mountains,underwater,deserts,
and in sedimentary rocks
If you are new at looking for
fossils go with someone. Do not
look in thunder storms. If you are
in a river be careful. Never look
         for fossils at cliffs
