CHECKLIST & RUBRIC
For this project, please remember to use the following story elements when
organizing your visual presentation:
 Setting
 Characters
 Problem/Rising Action
 Climax
 Falling Action
 Solution/Resolution
Consider the following items as well when creating your visual presentation:
 Ensure that each group member’s name is on the title slide
 Avoid too many words on each slide
 Did your group include plenty of visuals?
 Is the presentation in chronological or an appropriate order that is easy to
follow?
CHECKLIST: VISUAL
For your group’s oral presentation, use this checklist to ensure your
group is prepared for the presentation:
 Break up the slides evenly between group mates
 May use notecards to remember key words & phrases
 Practice speaking aloud as a group
 Practice making eye contact with the class & teacher
 Avoid reading off of notecards
 Use appropriate facial expressions and tone of voice for the story
content
 Maintain proper posture and confidence in the front of the room

For this project, please remember to use the following story elements when organizing your visual presentation:  Setting  Characters  Problem/Rising Action  Climax  Falling Action  Solution/Resolution Consider the following items as well when creating your visual presentation:  Ensure that each group member’s name is on the title slide  Avoid too many words on each slide  Did your group include plenty of visuals?  Is the presentation in chronological or an appropriate order that is easy to follow? For your group’s oral presentation, use this checklist to ensure your group is prepared for the presentation:  Break up the slides evenly between group mates  May use notecards to remember key words & phrases  Practice speaking aloud as a group  Practice making eye contact with the class & teacher  Avoid reading off of notecards  Use appropriate facial expressions and tone of voice for the story content  Maintain proper posture and confidence in the front of the room CHECKLIST: ORAL
