Establishing sustainable, cost effective collaborations of technology and data
related services to assist schools and districts to become “test ready.”
Building the capacity of educators at ISDs and districts to effectively plan and
implement online assessments and “Any Time, Any Place, Any Way, Any
Pace” learning.

• KRESA will provide PM, consultation/evaluation, and other fiscal agent
responsibilities
• Eligibility Requirements:
• Completed MTRAX survey by December 15, 2013
• collaborative efforts with at least three K-12 LEAs, PSAs, and/or ISDs
• demonstrate awarded funds will enable cost savings.
• Recommend the most effective method of delivery of data service centers to
allow distribution of data services at the most efficient level possible.

• have 51% of Consortium Advisory Committees support
• Extra points awarded for leveraging TRIG Activities (i.e. SEN, Data Hubs)
• Extra points awarded for supporting online assessment readiness

Review Process
• Technical Panel:
• 3rd party Technology Consultant
• 1 member of each trig consortium (Not a TRIG steering committee lead)
• Experience in Technology infrastructure, Technology Readiness, planning and implementation.
• Representative from MDE
• Kalamazoo RESA PM will supervise the review process only
• Scoring Process:
• Scoring Rubric – 100pt
• Award selections based on technical merit & quality, as determined by points
awarded through rubric.
• All Applicants will be notified by Kalamazoo RESA of funding decesion
