  3. 3. SWOT Analysis<br />Strengths:<br />Facebook page has positive feedback<br />Good reviews on http://www.yelp.com/biz/mexican-village-too-saint-cloud <br />Strong brand name & Consumer base in St. Cloud area<br />They have free birthday meals<br />
  4. 4. SWOT Analysis<br />Weaknesses:<br />Limited promotion with facebook<br />No Twitter<br />No Blog<br />Don’t engage much with fans on facebook (very slow at answering questions)<br />

SWOT Analysis<br />Opportunities:<br />Could offer special perks on social media sites to engage and connect with loyal customers.<br />To be the first Mexican restaurant in Central Minnesota to fully engage fans and customers on social networking sites.<br />Threats:<br />Their strongest competition in the St. Cloud Area is La Casita, who also has a limited social media presence, but could create one and win over fans if Mexican Village Too doesn’t move fast enough.<br />

Facebook<br />Employees usually sing to birthday boy/girl and have them wear a sombrero.<br />NOW after being sung happy birthday employees will snap a picture that will be posted on facebook.<br />If the people “like” the fan page & tag themselves in the picture, they will get a free meal.<br />Employees will also post favorite drinks and dishes on the Fan page.<br />Cinco de Mayo promotion for best plan, picture and story<br />

Twitter<br />Twitter:<br />“The Salsa Challenge”: Questions will be posted on twitter and first person to get the right answer wins a free salsa.<br />“Thank Mexican Village, it’s Friday!”: Questions will be tweeted every Friday, and the first person to tweet back the right answer will win a date night with free food and drinks.<br />Blogs:<br />`The blog will be linked to the Mexican Village Too website, Facebook page and Twitter page. <br />Employees can blog about their favorite dishes, drinks and new menu items.<br />Hashtag for Cinco de Mayo to promote holiday not the restaurant<br />

Blog<br />Serve as a venue for cooks and servers to talk about<br />Mexican recipes<br />Mexican traditions<br />Great drinks to go with meals<br />Not to sell the restaurant but to create relationships with customers and a resource for Mexican cuisine<br />Also pitch new promotions and events to other bloggers for more of an online presence<br />
