Recapping the successes of Appfrica's Apps4Africa competitive funding program.

3. The Apps4Africa competition began in late 2009 as an annual program
that aimed to support African entrepreneurs using technology to solve
societal problems.
Through this program, to date, we’ve been able to offer funding to
fifteen participants from nine countries.
