Areas of discussion to be addressed
A quote package outlining the project requirements and timeline was distributed to the vendors chosen to quote on the project. We then chose from the vendors, a suitable partner, who could both, meet our cost requirements and our timeline. The project map became the living document with which we worked from on a daily basis to insure that all areas of the project from start to finish were addressed. The establishment of the vendors requirements and timelines were crucial in factoring in our time lines and requirements with the vendors chosen to complete the tasks.
PDR’s and CDR’s covered both Sub-system as well as overall design of the lines as it pertained to overall component and sub-system interactions. Operational modules consisted of the Vello Drop, Air Catenaries, Vacuum Boxes, SO2 Boxes, Cooling, Laser Micrometer, Drawing Machines, Crack-off, Selectors, Cooling, Splitting, Clipping/Glazing, End Forming, Annealing, Inspection, Accumulating, Gantry Robot and Skid Loading/Unloading along with the appropriate dumping sites at strategic points in the process.
