minutes walk away from the Sandy
Hook Elementary School.

advocate, legally owned many guns,
and often took her sons to the
shooting range just for the practices.

High School. His mother removed him
from the school district because she
was absolutely displeased with what
they had to offer.
• He earned a GED* under his mother’s
roof.
• His high school friends described him
as lonesome, intelligent, very nervous
and uncomfortable in normal
conditions.

throughout the school before this unfortunate affair happened.

their lives.
• Vicki Soto, who is also a teacher in the school, hid the children after
she had heard Adam walking in, and died for the sake of protecting
them. Since then there were petitions to name roads, bridges, new

6. Possible reasonings behind the act
• All sources say there is no sure reason why he carried out the act but
doctors admittedly think Adam was suffering from personality
disorders as well as autism and obsessive compulsive disorder.
• Adam shot his mother on his way to the Elemantary school, reports
show that Adam was disturbingly mad at his mother for spending too
much time volunteering in the very school. He thought she cared
about the other kids more than him.
• He was known for his obsession to violent video games.
7. Reactions and Conspiracy Theories
• Some people blame NRA (National Rifle Association) because of the
gun control policies.
• Some people blame the government’s treatment policy towards
people who are suffering from personal disorders or mental health
issues.
• Minority blame the violent video games. (He could be provoked.)
• Another minority blames the mum and her ways of raising him. (e.g.
Taking him to shooting for practice, letting him know where the guns
are.)
