The four basic types of computers are.

•Mainframe Computer
•Minicomputer
•Microcomputer
5. SUPER COMPUTER
This type of computer usually costs hundreds
of thousands or even millions of rupees.
Super computers are comprised of
multiple high performance computers working
in parallel as a single system.
6. MAINFRAMECOMPUTER
• In the early days of computing, mainframes
were huge computers that could fill an entire
room or even a whole floor!
•Particularly used in large companies to describe
the huge machines processing millions of
transactions every day.
7. MINI COMPUTER
Another term rarely used anymore,
minicomputers fall in between
microcomputers (PCs) and mainframes
(enterprise servers). Minicomputers are
normally referred to as mid-range servers
now.
8. MICRO COMPUTER
•It is the smallest general purpose computer on the
basis of size and it is called micro computer.
•It is also called personal computer because it can
be used only by a single person at a time.
•It is easy to handle so it is used in different
application areas such as school, college, home etc.

11. PARTS OF COMPUTER
There are six basic parts of computer are:
Monitor , C.P.U, Mouse, Keyboard, Speakers, and
Printer.
MONITOR: It displays the output on screen.
C.P.U: It is the brain of computer.
Keyboard: It is used to type the text.
MOUSE: It is used to open the file by the clicking of
mouse.
SPEAKER: It gives us the output in the form of sound.
PRINTER: It scanned the document e.t.c on paper.
