1. AIPGMEE 2004 Questions and Answers
What Happens Once I’ve submitted My Application Online?
After successfully submitting your application on the AIPGMEE website, you will be emailed an Admit Card. You can
also get the Admit Card directly by logging onto the website and printing your own copy. The card specifies your
testing ID/registration number as well as the test venue, date and time.
Can I Choose My Preferred Venue, Time and Date for the Test?
Yes. Where and when you sit for the exam is your prerogative. You can select from one of the more than 35 cities
where the computer-based exam will be offered. The only constraint is slot availability. Allocation of slots is on a first
come first serve basis. Only the slots that are still available will be shown during scheduling. Cancellation or
rescheduling is not allowed once scheduling/registration is completed.
What If I Make a Mistake During Registration?
If you realize you made an error when keying in your application data, simply login to the AIPGMEE scheduling and
registration website, go to ‘Edit Profile’ or ‘Edit Application’, and make changes to your personal or application data.
The only information you will not be able to change is your full name and your username for security reasons. Once
you make any changes to your data, you have to print a new Admit Card.
What Time Do I Report for the Test?
You must arrive at the exam center at least one hour before the scheduled start time. This allows ample time for
identity verification and security checks. During the security checks, candidates are required to produce an original
ID and a valid Admit Card. The check-in process will also involve a digital photo of the candidate as well as fingerprint
capture. The reporting desk will be closed half an hour to start time. Candidates who arrive less than 30 minutes
before test start time will not be allowed to sit for the exam.
What is the Test’s Duration?
The AIPGMEE exam lasts for a single continuous session of three and a half hours. There is an extra 15 minute
tutorial just before the test begins and during which the candidate is expected to sign a non-disclosure agreement.
Do I Have to Answer the Questions Sequentially?
No. You can move back and forth between questions through the Review Screen. The 15 minute practice tutorial
before the exam takes test takers through this process.
What Happens During the 15 minute Tutorial?
The tutorial consists of a series of computer screens that orient a candidate on the navigation and functionality of
the computer-based AIPGMEE. Candidates can explore the different features including moving between questions,
2. and selecting or deselecting answers. It is recommended that test takers pay careful attention to the tutorial as it will
make it easier to handle the actual test.
What is the Practice Test?
The practice test serves nearly the same purpose as the 15 minute tutorial. The difference is the Practice Test is
available on the AIPGMEE website and can be taken any time including months before the exam date.
