2. Through her label ‘Bodice’, Ruchika Sachdeva challenges conventions and creates outfits for a strong individualistic woman who believes in emoting through fashion. The designer graduated from London college of Fashion and after working with prestigious design houses such as Vivienne Westwood, Giles Deacon and Nitin Bal Chauhan, launched ‘Bodice’.

3. Her brand is an extension of her personal style statement, which is an amalgamation of vintage influences, menswear tailoring and yet futuristic. The brand aims to move towards the future while holding on to desirable things from the past.

4. Ruchika Sachdeva is a fashion designer who, after finishing a year of foundation in Fashion Design and Technology from Pearl Academy of Fashion, took a transfer to London College of Fashion to complete her bachelor's degree in the same. Fashion defines the outlook of an individual, forms the first impression and should be taken very seriously.

5. Ruchika taken menswear fabrics and used it for women's wear as well as silk and a special technique of high density cream printing with UV silicon. Lakme Fashion Week was a step forward. Ruchika sent in her graduating collection for the ‘Gen-next’ category and got selected. She is glad that she got through as it gave her a bigger platform and a lot of exposure.

13. The collection is called Biomechanics . She explored the relationship shared between human beings and machines and incorporated the findings in her designs. Her collection is futuristic. She is now working on the orders. The creative part of having a design label comes naturally to her.
