SAP SuccessFactors Analyst Day 2016
• Broad momentum, customers & technology, eg. 12x+% increase in transactions
• New User Interface, brings Fiori like experience to browser and mobile
• Delivering ‘true’ Analytics and Intelligent Services, as announced at SConnect ‘15
• Extension framework sees good uptake, with customers and partners building
• Payroll now in 33 countries, completely driven from EmployeeCentral
• Reporting 100% on HANA, goal for 2017 to move all SuccessFactors to HANA
• 8 Data Centers, Brazil in 2016, Russia available, 100% EU location & service
Summary: SuccessFactors is making progress, bringing product to
state of leveraging synergies with SAP.

• Good Progress by SuccessFactors, delivering what was promised at SConnect’15
• Very much needed UiX improvement coming
• Good to SuccessFactors leverage SAP – HANA, HCP, Fiori, Datacenters etc.
• Horizontal investment in product shows both innovation and elimination of
technical debt – but also frugal use of (maybe limited?) resources
• Clear that SuccessFactors will do well in install base – product investment now
will determine success beyond SAP install base in a few year from now
Summary: Good progress by SuccessFactors, needs to work on
differentiators and value prop beyond SAP install base.
