The People Who Know God Knowing God—part 2

Philippians 3:7 Whatever was to my profit I now consider loss for the sake of knowing Christ.

Phil. 3:8 What is more, I consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them rubbish, that I may gain Christ…

Phil. 3:9 …and be found in Him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ—the righteousness that comes from God and is by faith.

Phil. 3:10 I want to know Him and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of sharing in His sufferings, becoming like Him in His death…

Great Energy for God. Daniel 11:32 but the people who know their God shall be strong, and take action.

Great Energy for God. Daniel 6:10 When Daniel learned that the decree had been published, he went home to his upstairs room where the windows opened toward Jerusalem. Three times a day he got down on his knees and prayed, giving thanks to his God, just as he had done before.

Great Energy for God. Daniel 9:3 …seek God by prayer and supplications, with fasting, and sackcloth, and ashes.

Great Thoughts of God. Daniel 4:6… “that the God of Israel is King of Kings and Lord of Lords, that ‘the heavens do rule.’”

Great Thoughts of God. Daniel 4:25 (5:21) the most High rules in the kingdom of men.

Great Thoughts of God. Daniel 2:20 Blessed be the name of God for ever and ever: for wisdom and might are His: and He changes the times and the seasons; He removes kings, and set up kings; He gives wisdom… He knows what is in the darkness, and the light dwells with Him….

Great Thoughts of God. Daniel 9:4, 7, 9, 14 “O Lord, the great and dreadful God, keeping covenant and mercy to them that love Him, and to them that keep His commandments… O Lord, righteousness belongs to You… to the Lord our God belong mercies and forgiveness… the Lord our God is righteous in all His works which he does…”

Great Boldness for God. Daniel 3:15 “Now when you hear the sound of the horn… if you are ready to fall down and worship the image I made, very good. But if you do not worship it, you will be thrown immediately into a blazing furnace . Then what god will be able to rescue you from my hand?”

Great Boldness for God. Acts 5:29 “We ought to obey God rather than men.”

Great Boldness for God. Acts 20:24 “…neither do I count my life dear to myself, if only I may finish my course and the ministry God has given me…”

Great Contentment in God. Romans 5:1 …being justified by faith we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ…

Great Contentment in God. Rom. 8:1 There is therefore no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

Great Contentment in God. Rom. 8:16 the Spirit bears witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God, and if children, then heirs…

Great Contentment in God. Rom. 8:28 We know that all things work for good with those that love God…

Great Contentment in God. Rom. 8:30 …those He justified, He then glorified…

Great Contentment in God. Rom. 8:33 If God be for us who can be against us?

Great Contentment in God. Rom. 8:37-39 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ ? … I am sure that neither death, nor life, nor angels or demons, nor things present, nor things to come, neither powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation we be able to separate us from the love of God , which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Great Contentment in God. Daniel 3:16-18 “If it be so, our God whom we serve will deliver us out of your hands. But if not, be it known to you O king that we will not serve your gods or worship the golden image you have set up.”

Great Contentment in God. You will seek Me and find Me when you seek Me with all your hearts . Jeremiah 29:13
