The Society of Women Engineers (SWE) holds an annual nationwide competition called the SWE Team Tech Competition where university teams collaborate with a company to design, test, and manufacture a prototype. The University of Puerto Rico at Mayaguez's (UPRM) SWE student chapter will participate for the first time. They are seeking an industry partner who can provide guidance like a mentor, facility access, and materials to complete their assigned project on time and establish a good relationship. In return, the team commits to successfully finishing the project, applying their new skills to future work, and exceeding expectations.
