Travelling.

Students learn to tell about travelling, compare information, dtscuss and make proposals how to
have a good rest.
Level: Intermediate
Class type - Teenagers
Aim - To enlarge the vocabulary, sharing the opinions, presenting proposals about advantages of
travelling.
Lessons focus - Writing, reading, speaking, vocabulary.
Time - Two periods of 45 min.
Assumed knowledge - To use Internet skills.
Material - Hand- outs, Blogs.
Web sites - www.eastern.com/travel/
www.fco.gov.uk/travel/
www.travel.ru

Procedure - Students go to the site www. travel.ru/,read about travelling.
- Research the information about the advantages and disadvantages of travelling ( they have
chosen the information), look through hand - outs.
- Students go to the site www.eastern.com/travel/, do online exercises. Check them up.
- At the site www.fco.gov.uk/travel/ watch video about travelling abroad and communicate.
- Students publish their communication.
Follow up - Students formulate advantages and disadvantages of travelling, post them in Blog,
read the post and say their opinions. At the end summarize all in one and make the decision and
introduce the best wishes how to have a good rest.
