5. Information on the presentations in your session needs to be entered in advance of IGARSS. It can be copied
and pasted from the IGARSS 2011 Technical Program available online at
http://igarss11.org/RegularProgram.asp, as described below.
• The first field is the title of the presentation. Copy the presentation title from the program and paste it
here.
• The second, larger field is for the name of the Session. Copy the name of the session (without any
identifying numbers) and paste it here.
• Presenter Details - Next to Authors, copy the complete list of authors and paste it here.
• Slides - If the presentation file is already available for uploading, you can upload it by clicking the Blue
upload button. The file must be a PowerPoint, Keynote, or PDF file. The system will automatically
convert it to a web friendly format.
• Recording – You do not need to do anything to this field.
• Date & Time – Set the date of the presentation. (IGARSS dates are July 25-29.) Then set the start time
to be when the presentation starts. Each oral presentation will last 20 minutes. For example, if the
session starts at 08:20, the paper start times will be 08:20, 08:40, 09:00, 09:20 and 09:40. Set the stop
time to be 20 minutes after the start time of the presentation.
• Rooms – This is very important. Click the radio button next to the appropriate room for your session.
• Post Tags – This is optional. It is keyword information to help organize presentations in the archive
• When you are done, click Publish! You can edit the information later, either by clicking the
presentation title in the list or by clicking “Edit” under the presentation title.
