1. YouTube Video
That video that we watched in the lesson was very informative. It had revealed a lot about how much the online media such as ‘YouTube’ was connecting information to other people and it was placing a sense of loss of community.
Web2.0 is linking people not only the information that is generated. Through this information people are responding and communicating all through the Internet. A video could be uploaded by someone in England and someone in New Zealand could be watching it and responding and through that they can gain a connection also they have and probably will never even meet each other in life.
Through this video that we had watched we were connecting with the person who has uploaded and also who is talking to us from within the screen. They have never met us before but are sharing information with us as if they have already had a connection with us. They may feel that we are linking across information to each other but also gaining an insight in to how we may all think alike.
The video also revealed how much Youtube has changed the world. People upload videso for themselves singing, dancing, talking about there personal lives, music videos are uploaded there is so much that happens on one internet site. It is shocking how much one site has connected people all over the world and it is an integrated media –scope. In one day some peoples video hits start off from a couple oh hits to thousands, millions. That is impressive and that is due to people all over the world are getting connected and communicating, watching and enjoying what has been posted.
