correctly list five of the eight lifestyle changes
discussed.
Given a case study the student will develop
an eight step plan for lifestyle improvement,

3. Setting/Audience/Delivery
Educational Setting: 2 hours a week
for 10 weeks
Audience of community members,
ages 15-65 with varied levels of
education and subject knowledge

7. Instructional Strategies
Instructional strategies for this workshop
will be Interactive Lecture. A 20-30 minute
lecture followed by classroom
demonstration, reflection questions, group
contest, debates, role play, case studies,
games, self and peer review, journaling,
video clips or exit survey. Some activities
will be started in class and finish later as a
form of outside reinforcement.

8. Formative Assessment
Formative assessments will be done in the
form of teacher observation (question and
answer), group project, quizzes, individual
final project and various parts of the
instructional strategy.

9. Closure
At the end participants will be able to choose
the lifestyle changes they wish to make
They will be able to explain why they made
changes
The workshop will offer hands-on
understanding of the human body and the
world we live in
There will be 3, 6 and 12 month follow-up
