2. Goals of the survey
Learn about the experiences and views of workshop
participants, others from participant organizations and
additional stakeholders toward the relevance of
gender issues in planning, implementing, monitoring,
and evaluating development projects.
Use what we learn to develop a capacity
strengthening strategy for the project

22. Conclusions & Ways Forward
Observations
Among respondents there’s a general consensus of the
importance of gender analysis—will this hold if we expand
the survey to other people/projects within your
organization or other organizations?
Consensus that assets are important (perceptions section),
however changes in household income and food security
are put ahead of changes in household assets when it
comes to M&E
Importance of project acceptability in community
underscores contextual issues and need for effective
community engagement, particularly on sensitive gender
issues
Gender trainings are prevalent, but seem to be limited to a
small group within the organization
