Change Manager 5.1 is Easier to Use
Change Manager 5.1 introduces usability enhancements to make it easier to learn and get started and to provide clearer results and action plans for
schema and data comparison jobs.

A new Welcome dialog includes steps and tutorials for getting started with basic tasks, shows recently changed jobs, recently run jobs, and provides
quick actions to jump right to creating a new job.

A new wizard bar walks users through configuring jobs with a Finish button suggesting next steps:

The schema comparison results page has a completely new layout, separating comparison status with the suggested action, organizing the actions and
filters, new counts of action types (number of extended alters, drops, etc.), quick-type filtering to find objects, and a detailed exportable report for an
object of what internals Change Manager matched and/or did not match.

The data comparison mapping page now shows high level status markers for incomplete mappings and allows for customization of how severe various
scenarios should be considered: no comparison key, column data types are incompatible, table dependency cycles, target length is shorter, and so on.

Schema Object Support
Support for a platform does not necessarily indicate that every object on that platform can be managed using Change Manager’s schema jobs. Refer to
the tables below for object support, and forward any requests or feedback to development. The objects supported by 5.1 have not changed but the
depth and accuracy of support is improved for many objects and platforms.

If you would like Data Masking to participate, please speak to your Account Representative or register Change Manager 5.1 Ultimate Edition now includes the ability to mask online at: https://beta.embarcadero.com/ data in the data comparison job with auto-synchronization. • 2. Change Manager 5.1 is Easier to Use Change Manager 5.1 introduces usability enhancements to make it easier to learn and get started and to provide clearer results and action plans for schema and data comparison jobs. A new Welcome dialog includes steps and tutorials for getting started with basic tasks, shows recently changed jobs, recently run jobs, and provides quick actions to jump right to creating a new job. A new wizard bar walks users through configuring jobs with a Finish button suggesting next steps:     The schema comparison results page has a completely new layout, separating comparison status with the suggested action, organizing the actions and filters, new counts of action types (number of extended alters, drops, etc.), quick-type filtering to find objects, and a detailed exportable report for an object of what internals Change Manager matched and/or did not match. The data comparison mapping page now shows high level status markers for incomplete mappings and allows for customization of how severe various scenarios should be considered: no comparison key, column data types are incompatible, table dependency cycles, target length is shorter, and so on. Schema Object Support Support for a platform does not necessarily indicate that every object on that platform can be managed using Change Manager’s schema jobs. Refer to the tables below for object support, and forward any requests or feedback to development. The objects supported by 5.1 have not changed but the depth and accuracy of support is improved for many objects and platforms.   DB2 for LUW  Oracle  SQL Server Sybase  Server Objects  Server Objects  Server Objects  Server Objects  Buffer Pools  Directories  Databases  Data Caches  Event Monitors  Groups  Linked Servers  Database Devices  Groups  Profiles  Logins  Databases  Node Groups  Redo Log Groups  Remote Servers  Dump Devices  Tablespaces  Roles and Users  Server Triggers  Logins  Users  Rollback Segments  User Messages  Remote Servers  Database Objects  Tablespaces  Database Objects  Roles  Aliases  Database Objects  Asymmetric Keys  Database Objects  Check Constraints  Check Constraints  Certificates  Aliases  Foreign Keys  Clusters  Check Constraints  Check Constraints  Functions  Database Links  Defaults  Defaults  Indexes  Foreign Keys  Extended Procedures  Extended Procedures  Materialized Query Tables  Functions  Foreign Keys  Foreign Keys  Primary Keys  Indexes  Functions  Indexes  Procedures  Java Sources  Indexes  Logical Foreign Keys  Sequences  Libraries  Primary Keys  Logical Primary Keys  Structured Types  Materialized Views and Logs  Procedures   Primary Keys  Tables  Outlines  Roles  Procedures  Triggers  Packages and Bodies  Rules  Rules  Unique Keys  Primary Keys  Server Triggers  Segments  User Defined Types  Procedures  Symmetric Keys  Tables  Views  Sequences  Synonyms  Triggers  Synonyms  Tables  Unique Keys  Tables  Triggers  Users  Triggers   Unique Keys  User Messages  Types and Bodies  Users  User Defined Datatypes  Unique Keys  User Defined Datatypes  Views  Views  Views  XML Schemas    Database Permissions Change Manager requires data source credentials to have certain levels of permission in order to run schema, configuration, and data jobs.
