1. Applying what I have learned
From the research that I have committed on album adverts, I have learned
many things that I will be applying to my final design. I will use an interesting
and creative font to catch the any possible consumer’s attention. By doing
this it might possibly gain a sale of the album. At the very worst it will teach
consumers the name of the band, and give them a name to Google or
YouTube in order to learn more about them. This could lead to a potential
sale. I will also use a bright, vibrant colour for this font, and put in on a
contrasting background. This will also make it ‘pop’ out more and could
attract consumers.

2. Why I want to advertise in this way
• Much like mika’s work, I want to
use various cartoon imagery for our
design. This is for a number of
reasons. The first is that it would
give our advertisement a bold
appearance, making it stand out
against other adverts. The second
is that it would fit with the theme
of our music video, (animation)
making it relevant. In an industry
where big stars names and images
are used to sell CD’s rather than
advertising, putting the band
members of lion O’Brien on the
advertising would achieve little
purpose. This is why using cartoon
imagery with bold, warm colours is
the way to go forward.
