Market Commentary
Margin of Safety – Wonderful concept coined by Great Benjamin Graham
When an investor invest in any business through stock market, the cost at which he is investing is very vital. If the downside from this price point is low, investor has
got enough margin of safety. In simple words, the probability of losing their capital invested is very minimal. Now the challenge is how to find out this particular price
range of a stock that has got enough margin of safety. This value point is based on the possible fundamental upside of the underlying business. In case of cyclical
stock, it happens at the lowest part of the industrial cycle. Example – Metal, Sugar, Banking, etc. But in non-cyclical business, the downside mostly happens in the bear
market. So it is always advisable to invest more in bear market and sell more in bull market
