2. Analytical Theme It could be suggested that when America goes to War there is always a state of poverty that occurs in the country.
3. After World War 1 a sign of poverty was the Great Depression. Great Depression 1920’s-1940’s One of the causes of the Great Depression was the amount of debt that the nation was in because of wars. Another cause of the Great Depression was the Stock Market Crash and recession. Another part of the Great Depression was the rate at which unemployment had reached.
4. World War II 1940’s World War II briefly got America out of the Great Depression by rallying together to fight in a bigger War. While it created jobs, unity, and opportunity it was short lived. In America, because of Pearl Harbor many Japanese-American’s faced poverty during World War II. Because of actions over seas, after World War II there was less poverty, but still enough.
5. With World War II at an end, it started a Cold War between nations and built more poverty in America.
