   4.   ¿Qué tipo de ropa llevamos?

Objetivos Generales: at the end of the unit Grade 2T should be able to:

        Locate at least 10 different parts of the body, describing orally and in a written form
        the different parts and what is used for in Spanish with 60% accuracy in
        pronunciation.
        Identify at least 5 items of clothing that can be worn on different parts of the body in
        Spanish after being taught the vocabulary.

Skills: Speaking, Listening. Methods: Total physical response and Communicative Approach

At the end of the lesson 2T students should be able to:

        Identify at 3 least parts of the body in Spanish using appropriate vocabulary with

        60% accuracy in pronunciation after listening a poem

        Work together in pairs to foster good pair and group dynamics

At the end of the lesson 2T students should be able to:

       accuracy after viewing a video.
       Work together in pairs to foster group dynamics.

Tópico Tres: ¿Para qué usamos las partes de la Cara?

At the end of the lesson 2T students should be able to

       Locate at least 4 parts of the face and say what it is used for in Spanish with 60%
       accuracy after listening to a poem.

Tópico Cuatro: ¿ Qué tipo de ropa llevamos?

At the end of the lesson 2T students should be able to:

       Select at least 4 items of clothing that can be worn on different parts of the body in
       Spanish using appropriate vocabulary with 50% accuracy.
       Work collaboratively to do assigned task.

Game: Let’s Get Dressed

Language Content: The Body


This is a game which focuses on body parts, and may incorporate use of paper dolls.

Students will be provided with items of clothing e.g. Pants, socks, gloves, hat and jacket and

be instructed to put them on the dolls. This activity will be done in a completive manner,

involving the participation of 2 teams. Each team would be provided separate, but with

similar sets of clothing, and their own model of a doll. Instruction will be the teacher, and

two players, one from each team, race to complete the instruction. They will also race to

label or touch the parts of the doll as they listen to them being said in chunks and

commands by the teacher.
