Editor's Notes
This is the MLA format for citing a book by one author. Remember, to tab over the second line or any additional lines for that citation. Once you ’ ve gathered all of your resources the final Bibliography or Works Cited page must be given in alphabetical order.
In this example, the reference book did not provide the author ’ s name who wrote the article so it is omitted. Note that where periods and commas are placed.
If the author has a middle initial that is included after their first name followed by one period.
