If you change your:
• address
• home phone
• mobile phone
• work phone number
please contact your child’s teacher and
update your card as soon as possible
Drop Off / Pick-Up:
• 15 minutes before class and 15
minutes after class
• The children’s security is our
#1 priority, please wait patiently
outside when fetching your
child.
Fetcher’s Card
The name & photo of any person picking up
your child must be on the Fetcher’s card in
order for us to release your child to them.
No child will be released to a person not
authorized by a parent or caregiver to pick
up the child. We must have written or
verifiable verbal authorization for changes
in this respect.
Your Child’s Belongings
LABEL everything your child brings to school. This
includes backpacks, lunchboxes, sharing
items, and all clothing including jackets, boots,
hats, etc. We will have a “Lost and Found”
box for items without names on them.
PERSONAL TOYS are not allowed in school unless
it’s for Show and Tell or the teacher assigned
the kids to bring them.
Extra Clothes
Please put an extra set of clothing in
your child’s backpack. This includes
a pair of underwear, pants, socks,
and shirt. The kids change clothes
almost daily especially after an
active outdoor play session.
Water Bottles
It would ne nice if your child can bring his/her
own water bottle to school. This will minimize
distractions in class. It would also be helpful to
parents because they would be able to
monitor if their child is drinking enough liquids.
Please make sure that ONLY water will be in the
bottle.
Holidays & Other Circumstances
• There will be no classes every last Friday for
our Staff In-service.
• For rallies and other such events, our office will
text you regarding classes.
• If Signal #1 is announced, there will be no
classes. We will no text you anymore.
• If no storm signal is announced, we leave it to
the parent’s prerogative to send your child to
school.
Birthdays

during snack time
• Balloons or loot bags should be distributed
after class
• Invitations will only be distributed if the
whole class is invited
• Please excuse the teachers from attending
your personal events
When Making Payments

office instead of giving it to your child.
Payment thru BPI deposit can be arranged if
it will be more convenient for you.
When children get sick
• If your child is not feeling well, please don’t
send him/her to school.
• We check their temperature everyday
before school starts. If your child has a
temp of 38C, he/she will be isolated and
sent home.
• If your child catches a communicable
disease, please inform us immediately so
we can inform the other parents.
When kids get hurt & hurt others
• Incident Report via email
• Aggressive Behavior Form via email
• Confidentiality of all children
involved will be maintained.
Biting Policy
Biting is a natural developmental stage that many children go through. It is
usually a temporary condition that is most common kids 12 months – 3 yrs old.
The safety of the children in school is our primary concern. The school’s biting
policy addresses the actions the staff will take if a biting incident occurs.
Kids bite other kids for many different reasons. A child might be teething or
overly tired and frustrated. He or she might be experimenting or trying to get
the attention of the teacher or his peers. Kids have poor verbal skills and are
impulsive without a lot of self-control. Sometimes biting occurs for no apparent
reason. The school will encourage the children to "use their words" if they
become angry or frustrated. The staff members will maintain a close and
constant supervision of the children at all times.
Biting Policy
The following steps will be taken if a biting incident occurs in school:
• The biting will be interrupted with a firm "No…we don't bite
people!"
• Staff will stay calm and will not overreact.
• The bitten child will be comforted.
• Staff will remove the biter from the situation. The biter will be given
something to do that is satisfying.
• The wound of the bitten child shall be assessed and cleansed with
soap and water
• The parents of both children will be notified of the biting incident.
Appropriate forms will be filled out
• Confidentiality of all children involved will be maintained.
• The bitten area should continue to be observed by parents and staff
for signs of infection.
Your child should be able to:
•carry his/her own bag to school
•feed himself/herself
•dress himself/herself
The kids will go out & get sweaty
almost daily. They will not get sick
because of sweat or spills.
What is Busy Work?
Recommended pen &
paper exercises for the
week. It is optional.
It is perfectly fine if you
chose not to do it.
• Read a storybook with your child EVERYDAY
• Buy at least 1 storybook each month to add to
your Home Library
• If you want to raise readers, your children should
see you read as well
• It is easy to teach kids how to read, the hard part
is encouraging them how to love reading
