DMT Business Services' Cornwall Works
for Social Enterprise project (CWSE) could
be just what you need.
CWSE is a partnership programme with Cornwall
Council funded by investment from the European
Social Fund through DWP. It is designed to help
unemployed people in Cornwall get back into work
through involvement with social enterprise activities.
DMT has two free offers to help social
enterprises recruit volunteers and staff:
• Volunteer placements
- individuals matched and placed with you to work in your
project/organisation, hours to suit, at no cost to you, in
return for the chance to get up to date work experience and
develop their skills.
• Risk Free Recruitment Service
- pre-employment job tasters, placements, and skills
development to match jobseekers to your vacancies, help
them meet your recruitment requirements and enable you to
get the right people for your jobs, plus access to post-
employment Apprenticeship training where eligible and
possible wage subsidy.
