9. Discourse Analysis Discourse analysis is an linguistics approach to study the application of spoken or written language. Objective: Understand the use of language by participants in the process of collaborative learning. Identify the “idea” or “concept” or “knowledge” from the discourse. 10. Content Analysis Content analysis is a social science methodology to classify the communication based on a set of predefined coding scheme. 11. Other analyses Social Network Analysis (SNA) Social network analysis investigates the social relationships in terms of network theory. Many toolkits are available for SNA.
