  • WHAT ARE THE USES OF A VIRTUALCLASSROOM IN THE TEACHING AND LEARNING OF ESL/EFL?"
  • Well as far as I understood technology is atool that all teachers most use with theirstudents to have a clear and extendedlearning in the learning proses so with accessof internet a classroom could be enjoyableinteresting and anything you will want andyour students ask for everything is there justto use so in a virtual class you have lessonsonline but in a virtual classroom you not onlycan ask a teacher tutorial guide you will find amenu with any question and steps to findwhat you need in your process.
  • There is a wide variety of hardware and softwareavailable for teachers of English as a SecondLanguage (ESL) and of English as a ForeignLanguage (EFL). Even though the contextsbetween the two types of teaching/learning aredifferent, the motivations are the same. Teachersand students want and need access totechniques and strategies that effectively teachEnglish. Depending on the specific context, theteachers and students may have more or lessaccess to various types of technology
  • As I stated earlier, context often determines thetype and amount of technology that is available. For example, ESL teachers who teach adults inAmerican community colleges also oftenincorporate teaching computer skills into theirclasses. A teacher in an online program, whetherESL or EFL, uses a variety of web technologies forhis/her class, which may include Skype, or othersuch online tools. A teacher in Peru may not haveclassroom access to a, but have access at home sothat she/he can find lesson ideas online to use inclass.
