3. Concept:
A group of scientists are held
captive
by
a
terrorist
organization.
It
begins
by
concentrating on one scientist
creating a lethal poison that is
going to be used for a terrorist
attack.
The
scientist
then
accidently spills the poison on
him, his skin rots away and the
audience is left with his skeleton
on the floor. The other scientist
comes in and finds the body, before panicking, collecting the data and
poison. It then goes on to show the scientist on the run from the
terrorist group. The FBI is called to retrieve the terrorist group, the
scientist and the chemical weapons. The tagline is; ‘Sometimes things
aren’t always what they seem’.

Outline of opening Thriller sequence:
Beginning- opens with title the background will be dark and
mysterious and there’s creepy intense music playing (bodies by
drowning pool) the background then fades out in to the clip of an
establishing shot of the science lab. That will fade into a close up of
the chemicals.
Middle- the camera zooms out and the 2 scientists enter into the
room there will then be a medium shot to show the scientist creating
the poison while the other works on the formula what’s on the
whiteboard. We then go to a close up shot of the poison getting
spilled onto one of scientists.
End- We see the scientist fall to the floor and see the poison eat at
their flesh, the other one panics grabs the poison and runs out the
door whilst pushing the panic button. The FBI then turn up seconds
later and notice things listen and skeleton on the floor

4. Camera and editing:
We are going to use FinalCut for editing,
garage band for the music and sound effects,
and also we are going to use a range of
camera angles and shots. (E.G: close up on
poisons, medium shot to show the scientist
carrying the poisons, establishing shot to
introduce the scene, high angle shot to show
the urgency and alarms going off-make
scientists look small and vulnerable)
Lighting:
The lighting we will use will be firstly be
dark, then the lights will flicker on. Then
once the experiment is done and spilled, a
red light should appear to show emergency
and danger. The room will be dark during
this to give a sinister feel.
Style:
It is going to be modern, we will get props,
costumes etc. from Asda as it is close to
Halloween so the things we will need will
be there. We will also use face paints to
show the flesh of the scientist rotting away.

Costumes:
Grace and Natalie will wear lab coats to show they are the scientists
Shelby, Courtney and the rest of the FBI team will wear dark clothing
to represent the FBI as we have a limit on how much we can spend.
