So now you know some about Sweden and its culture. To get to know more about the typical swede I wanna show you this video about swedishness.
Since the economical crisis - rightwing extreme forces have been growing in Sweden as in many European countries. We have more and more racist and Nazi attacks. Here you see an attack to a mosque. But since the racism is getting bigger so are the antiracists getting more and more organized. After several attacks last year from Naziswhere they had beatin and chased people on several occasions, and Nazi symbols had been cluttered in different places for example a school in Kärrtorp, a suburb to Stockholm. A demonstration was planned in December last year. 500-700 came to the demonstration both children and old. And only 6 polices. 30-40 men from a Swedish Nazi group then attacked the peaceful demonstration with brass knuckles and sticks and throwing burning things towards the people. This resulted in people from the left extreme side to go to a counterattack.Several people got hurt and went to jail because of this.
As a response to this another demonstration against racism was arranged the week after in Kärrtorp again. 16 000 people came and representatives from all the political parties joined. All except one party.
Even though SD themselves are not presenting themselves as a racist party and they don’t use as extreme rhetoric's as before they are still putting groups against each other. Offering easy solutions to hard problems. Their commercial to the last election is a good example of that. You will see how they have put retired seniors against Muslims. The voice are telling in Swedish that we have to prioritize. The seniors or immigration.
The last election SD came in to our parliament for the first time with 5,7% (you have to get more than 4% to enter the parliament) And their support is getting more and more big.None of the other parties collaborates with them, giving them none influence in the politics.
Prejudices? Economical crisis? Segregation? Spanish are lazy? Swedes are cold?
