Verses are an annotation of words put into music which introduced the public to the next song to come. 17. Cole Cole Porter Alvin Theatre New York 1934 Also in 1934 Broadway producer Vinton Freedly brings the musical โAnything Goesโ to stage. The performances are scheduled in the Alvin Theatre on Broadway and the premiere takes place on November 21 st in 1934. The musical is performed for 420 times and with that the third longest running musical of that time.
