    • Welcome to Canada, the second largest country in the world. Canadas flag has a maple leaf because there are manymaple trees in this country. The Capital of Canada is, Ottawa Canadas PeopleMost Canadians first came from Europe but many are nativeIndian and Eskimos. Eskimo people are called "Inuits".Many still live in far off, arctic areas of Canada. Canada has two main languages, French and English. Native people called "Inuits" still follow traditional ways ofliving.
    •  Canada is a country that covers mostof the north half of North America. Our name, Canada probably comesfrom kanata-kon, an IroquoisIndian word that means to thevillage or to the small houses. Hockey and LaCrosse are Canada’sNational sports.

    • Canada’s Cities: Canada is made up of 10 provinces:Newfoundland, Prince Edward Island,Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Quebec,Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta,Ontario, and British Columbia andthere are also 3 territories. Canada is a nation on it’s own, but stillmakes the Queen of Great Britain as itshead of state. Great Britain ruled Canada until 1867.

    • Food in Canada Canadian foods first came from theBritish and the French who first cameto Canada. Canadians eat many of the same foodsthat you do. Fish and seafood are alot because of the many fishingbusiness. Canada also produces manyfruits such as apples, cranberries,pears, plums, and peaches. About 75% of the worlds maple syrupcomes from Canada.
