Duration : Duration of commercial can be of 15 secs, 20 secs, 25 secs, 30 secs, 60 secs. Rate charge on television is per 10 secs. FMCG Ads on products such as Oil & Soap can be 30 secs, a corporate film which requires lot of description can be 60 secs. So is the case with Consumer Durable products. b. Cost : eg. The cost of making the Mentos – Classroom ad which was 30 secs. is Rs.20 Lakhs. BRP 2
