  • Warm-up, 10.19.2009 Do you think life exists anywhere else in the universe? If you think it does, what do you think it might look like?   • Plate Tectonics Mini-lab (2 grades)
    • Get with a partner and take out a sheet of paper and a book.
    • Fold, cut, and tape your sheet of paper to model each of the different kinds of plate boundaries.
    • Label each geological feature.
    • Color the paper to illustrate different levels of elevation. Red = high elevation. Yellow = medium elevation. Blue = low elevation.
    • Look at a map of the world and note the position of mountains. What explains the location of mountain ranges?
