3. Understanding Heart
 Complete muscular organ.
 Situated behind the sternum in thoracic
cavity, between the lungs tilted slightly
towards left.
 Adult human heart : roughly conical shape
having 12cm long, 9 cm broad and weighs
300 gm.

4. More on the organ..
 Covered by Pericardium, a double
membrane.
 Space between Heart and Pericardium is
filled with Pericardial fluid which protects
heart.
