4. • Direct Purposeful Experiences
- These are the rich experience
that our senses bring from
which we construct the ideas,
the concept ,the generalization
that give meaning and order to
our lives.
5. • Contrived Experiences – These
are “edited” copies of reality
and are used as substitutes for
real things when it is not
practical or no possible to bring
real thing in the classroom.
6. • Dramatized Experiences - A
dramatic entrance is
something that catches and
hold our attention and has an
emotional impact.
7. • Demonstration - In teaching it is
showing how a thing is done and
emphasizing of salient merits,
utility and efficiency of a
concept, a method or a process
or an attitude.
8. • Study Trips – These are
excursion, educational trips
and visit conducted to observe
an event that is unavailable
within the classroom.
9. • Exhibits – These are displays
seen by spectator. They may
arranged meaningfully or
photographs with models ,
charts and posters.
10. • Television and motion
pictures - Can construct the
reality of the past of effectively
that we are made to feel we
are there.
11. • Still pictures, recordings,
radio - These are visual and
auditory devices which may
be use by an individual or a
group.
12. • Visual Symbols – These are no
Longer realistic reproduction of a
Physical thing for these are highly
Abstract representation.
13. • Verbal Symbols – They are not
like the objector ideas for which
they stand. They usually do not
contain visual clues to their
meaning.
