I made this project called "Saturday in the Park" for Maverick Indonesia. The purposes of this project are to raise awareness of people living in Jakarta to maintain public park and regularly visit public park for social gathering.

2. Jakartaโs public facilities remain one of the
worst in Asia. The Safe Cities Index by the
Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) has put
Jakarta at the bottom of a list of 50 global
cities, by measuring the relative level of
safety in four broad categories: digital
security, health security, infrastructure
security, and personal safety.

3. โข 65% of respondents admitted at
least there is 1 public park
around their neighborhood even
though the condition is not
necessarily deserve for
gathering place or just hanging
around.
โข Less than 21% of respondents
stated regularly visited public
park in their spare time. While
nearly 60% admitted rarely
come to the public park.
4. Based on data collected by Jakartaโs
Green Map Community, there are 350
parks in Jakarta but only 12 parks that
deserve to be visited and used as a place
to spend time

Main Theme
The theme for this campaign is
interactivity. We believe that public
park is very important because it
can provide gathering places for
families and social groups, as well
as for individuals of all ages.
Public park provide
opportunity to be physically
active. Physical activity is
an essential part of an
individualโs efforts to stay
healthy. Having close-to-
home access to places
where one can recreate is
one of the most important
factors linking whether
people will become active
and stay that way.
8. Purposes
โง This project aim to raise awareness of people
living in Jakarta about how important public
parks to make Jakarta greener.
โง To gather support from local communities to
join and act to maintain and supervise public
parksโ cleanness and feasibility.
โง To increase participation people living in
Jakarta to visit public parks
*This project is inspired
by Mr. Ridwan Kamil and
Mrs. Tri Rismaharini
efforts to maintain and
preserve public parks in
Bandung and Malang.
10. โข The first thing we can do is
develop proposals. Then, we
arrange meeting with sponsorship
and potential partnership like
Ministry of Environment and
KOPHI. We are trying to engage
NGOs/local communities to
cooperate in this project.
โข After that, we submit letter
permission to the police and local
authorities.

โข The next thing we can do is using social media to
spread the project information through twitter,
facebook, instagram and youtube using digital poster.
We will also make a website that will update our
current activities. In this web, there is a form for
volunteer registration.
โข To disseminate this project information, we also
collaborate with radio station and
magazine/newspaper in Jakarta. 1 months

12. โข Next, we can visit high schools and universities around Jakarta.
We can hold a workshop with theme โHow Important to Maintain
Public Park?โ. The speaker are our Communication and
Promotion division and NGOs/local communities member.
In this workshop, we also share some posters and booklet that
will illustrate about public parks condition in Jakarta and this
project.
The workshop will be held 1 month before the project launch and
during the project take place . The workshop will be held at 15
Senior High School and 15 Universities)

Competition
โง We are gonna also invite people to join
our movie compettition with theme
โPreserving Our Public Parksโ. We
are gonna pick 5 winners. Every 1
movie will be screening at 1 park.
โง The Social Media competition is using
Facebook, Twiiter, Instagram. You
come to the event, post and mention us
with creative photos about your fav
activities in park and your opinion about
our project. We are gonna pick 3
winners for every event.
โง The winners of movie competition will
be receive IDR 4.000.000 for each
person.
โง And social media competition will be
receive IDR 200.000 for each person.

14. โงThis project will take place in 5 public parks through Jakarta
once in a month (for 5 months). The concept is like picnic where
you can relaxed and enjoy the park. While you gather, you can
learn more about environment and cultivate plant seed with your
name tag. The project will be include:
โข Movie screening (layar tancep concept)
โข Music performances (3 bands will be perform in every park/Jazzy,
Dream Pop)
โข Easy talkative about environmental
โข Fun games
โข Cultivate 100 plant seeds for every park at the end of the event
โข Donate 2 trash cans for every 10-15M around park area
โข Set up 2 tap water for every park
