About Luigi Ceccaroni is a veteran researcher, well-known in the fields of citizen science and artificial intelligence. He is the CEO of 1000001 Labs, a Barcelona-based company established to study artificial-intelligence solutions to manage environmental data. Luigi spent 11 years as the principal investigator and leader of very-large European Commission’s projects, including coordinating the 5 M€ citizens' observatory for coast and ocean's monitoring and forecasting Citclops, and the 5 M€ modeling and simulation project for systems medicine Synergy-COPD.
